My friday in photos. Harvest time is always a time of mixed emotions. It makes me happy since we are able to walk the fields, sad because it means autumn is almost here. Happy because the naked fields are beautiful, sad because all the pretty green and yellow colors are almost gone. But mostly, I’m happy: we can eat our own apples straight from the tree, the sky is so overwhelmingly beautiful this time of year, and it’s good to return to red wine and cheese after a long walk.
A while ago, a wonderful person, who knows how very much I appreciate it, cooked for me, wined and dined me.
The beautiful food was spiced up with herbs from my own garden.
The tomatoes came from my greenhouse. I grew them.
Slightly tipsy, I leaned back and enjoyed the 70ies decor.
It took me back.
